For this baguette the smoked tofu gets a tasty marinade of spices and garlic, combined with tomatoes and salad. What a good little meal!

  • 6 tbsp wine
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Stk. cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 2 Stk. bay leaves
  • 5 Stk. peppercorns
  • 1 Stk. baguette
  • 4 tsp mustard
  • 8 Stk. lettuce leaves
  • 2 Stk. tomatoes
  • 1 Stk. cucumber
  • 1 Stk. red onion
  • 200 g Joya Organic Tofu Smoked

Instructions

    1. Mix the wine, soy sauce, wine vinegar, 2 tbsp olive oil, 200 ml water, garlic, thyme, bay leaves and pepper and simmer for 3 minutes. Pour over the Joya Organic smoked tofu, let it cool, refrigerate and leave to marinate for at least 1 hour.
    1. Drain the tofu. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a non-stick frying pan, lay the tofu slices side by side in the pan, fry on both sides for approx. 2 minutes.
    1. Cut the baguette into two pieces and slice in half lengthwise. Spread some mustard on the bread and fill with salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, tofu and onions. Put a little “tartar” tofu dip on top.
