Cinnamon Stars

Cinnamon Stars

These quickly made cinnamon stars turn out delightfully soft without a trace of butter. They make a charming addition to decorating your Christmas table, but be warned, your decorations might not last long.

1. In a large bowl, mix powdered sugar, cinnamon, almonds, hazelnuts, flour, lemon zest, and orange zest.
2. Fold in the Joya cuisine and knead into a dough. Form a ball, cut it in half, and roll out both dough balls between two sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of 4-5 mm.
3. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out stars and place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 180°C for approximately 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, cinnamon, and water. Once the cookies have cooled, brush them with the mixture.
5. Allow the glaze to dry, then store the cookies in a container.
